Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius gameplay and story
Anime News Network reports that the Square Enix-produced game entitled Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius released in Japan last Oct. 2015. And in North America, it hit four months prior. Moreover, the developer describes the game to be a place where you can “immerse” yourself in a world of peril, fear, and friendship. The story focuses on to young knights of valor and a girl bereft of memory who meet, and together, go on an adventure “filled with mystery and danger.”
Even though it is playable only on a smartphone, Square Enix made sure that the game style hits close to how the previous titles have been like. In fact, the official description reads, “with a flick of a finger, unleash attacks both spectacular and devastating” which are reminiscent of previous Final Fantasy titles that are turn-based when attacking.
The game draws inspiration from A-Lim’s previous Brave Frontier game. The game play is ultimately simple, where players from five-member parties defeat bosses, gain experience, and earn money along the way.
Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius features game art by Yoshitaka Amano. Best of all, the game is free-to-play.

Ariana Grande coming to Final Fantasy universe
Reports are rife saying that the popstar will soon be a playable character in the mobile game. Grande announced that her likeness as DW (or Dangerous Woman) will appear in the game. Her game character appears to be modeled after her album cover of the same name.
Grande took to Instagram to describe her character. She said, “it’s the cutest thing i’ve ever seen in my entire life and i’m so excited and in love with it i cannot contain myself.” This will be the first time a non-fictional character makes an appearance in the franchise. More recently, Forbes also notes how this has also attracted mixed reactions from longtime Final Fantasy fans, saying how this is a marketing ploy aimed at targeting a younger audience to the Japanese RPG franchise.
