Even though it is playable only on a smartphone, Square Enix made sure that the game style hits close to how the previous titles have been like. In fact, the official description reads, “with a flick of a finger, unleash attacks both spectacular and devastating” which are reminiscent of previous Final Fantasy titles that are turn-based when attacking.

The game draws inspiration from A-Lim’s previous Brave Frontier game. The game play is ultimately simple, where players from five-member parties defeat bosses, gain experience, and earn money along the way.

Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius features game art by Yoshitaka Amano. Best of all, the game is free-to-play.
