The Voice Season 12 have started with their blind auditions and is close to reaching the battle rounds. However, the latest news about the reality show is not its contestants but the coaches. The Voice coach Adam Levine admits that he feels awkward with the Blake Shelton-Gwen Stefani relationship which is making the dynamics in the set, well, weird.
Adam Levine just can’t stop talking about his fellow The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Yahoo reports that the Maroon 5 frontman made rounds to various talk show programs consistently taking “playful shots” at the country singer.
The Voice Season 12 Adam Levine Jokes About Shelton’s Accent
The outlet notes that on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the singer took aim on Shelton’s southern accent. The Pitch Perfect 2 star said that he always likes Shelton say phrases that have the ‘white’ word like “Snow White” and “white bread” because it sounds very different to how normal people says white.
On the other hand, the Yesterday singer was a guest on Howard Stern’s radio show and revealed that he never thought the Blake Shelton-Gwen Stefani romance will happen. The singer said, “if you had told me Gwen Stefani was going to be with Blake Shelton, I would have told you were out of your f**king mind.”
The couple announced last November 2015 that they were dating. Though speculations about the couple’s upcoming marriage circulate around the internet, they remain tight-lipped about the matter.

Levine Feels Weird But Supports The Blake-Gwen Relationship
Stefani returned to the reality show this season and Levine did admit that things have changed in their show’s set. The singer joked and told Stern that he sometimes thinks and realizes that his fellow coaches were doing intimate things together.
“It’s weird. It’s like a dynamic shift, because you’re just, like, it’s wild,” said Levine. The outlet notes that Stern commented about Shelton and the former No Doubt member’s timing with regard to their relationship. According to the source, Levine disagreed.
“I think they found each other at a really interesting time in their lives. I see it as a beautiful thing. Good for them. And I think that love is a good, wonderful thing,” said the singer. Apart from the trio, Alicia Keys is the fourth coach that completes the list.
Both Levine and Shelton have been part of the reality show since it started in 2011. Meanwhile, Stefani became a coach for the show in Seasons 7 and 9. The Voice Season 12 aired their first episode on Feb. 27. Because of the show’s huge success, NBC renewed the series for its 13th season last October 2016.
