The CW’s The Originals recently released new photos of their Season 4 premiere episode and fans are getting excited. With the series’ time jump, viewers can expect “both new and familiar faces” to drop by New Orleans. Are you ready to see the Mikaelsons back?
After almost 10 months of waiting, the Mikaelsons will return to the small screen on March 17, 2017. Entertainment Weekly reports that The CW series released new photos to tease their viewers on what they can expect in Season 4.
Christina Moses Joins The Originals
The outlet notes that the photos revealed a new character for the series. Actress Christina Moses will take on the role of Keelin, an openly bisexual ER doctor. Apart from her day job, the source notes that she is also the last living werewolf of her line. Other than this brief description, fans will have to see what Keelin will bring to New Orleans.
Meanwhile, another on-set photo shows a defeated Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) talking in what seemed like a dungeon. Furthermore, another photo teases a scene between Morgan and Davis where the former is chained, fists clenched and looking at the latter with anger.

Cartermatt.com reports that The Originals Season 4 Episode 1 titled Gather Up the Killers will feature the series’ five-year time jump. The latter report also hints that New Orleans will have some further danger swirling in on the series’ upcoming episode.
The series’ synopsis reads: “On the fifth anniversary of Klaus’ defeat, Marcel is king of the city and welcomes the un-sired vampires to New Orleans.” Unfortunately, these vampires become an unexpected threat to Marcel’s reign. Because of this, he will seek advice from “an unlikely source.”
Can Hayley Bring Elijah Back?
On the other hand, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) has her hands full in finding a cure that will revive Elijah (Daniel Giles) and the Mikaelsons. The outlet posed a question whether Hayley will be successful in her efforts to get the First Family of Vampires back.
The outlet also opined that The CW series should continue with their main theme of vampire vs. vampires. Moreover, it should include the Mikaelson brothers which make the series exciting for their fans. The intimidating “vampire stare” should also be back in the equation. This is because the so-called “stare” makes the viewership ratings go up, according to the source.
The Originals will air its Season 4 premiere episode on March 17 at 8 P.M. on The CW. Are you also excited to see Klaus and the rest of the vampires? Share your thoughts with us!
