The Originals Klaroline shippers are getting excited about the possibility of the couple to have their own spinoff series. Moreover, The Vampire Diaries’ final episode apparently dropped clues with regard to the Klaus-Caroline relationship.
Julie Plec Reveals Possibility Of The Originals Klaroline Moment
The Vampire Diaries aired its series finale last Friday, March 10, but the series left an open-ended story for Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline (Candice King). Popsugar reports that TVD and The Originals showrunner Julie Plec revealed that there is “always a potential” for Klaus and Caroline to have their own spinoff.
However, Plec said that Caroline may join The Originals if it gets renewed for another season. The showrunner said that currently, TVD and The Originals’ timeline don’t match up. This is why there is no way the former lovers will have the chance to see each other in The Originals Season 4.
Meanwhile, Bustle reports that Klaroline shippers have been patiently waiting for a chance for this former couple to see each other once again. The latter report notes that TVD’s series finale titled I Was Feeling Epic hints of that possibility.
After Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) death, Caroline and Alaric (Matthew Davis) received a $3 million donation for the Salvatore boarding school that they want to open.
The outlet notes that their donor is none other than Caroline’s former love, Klaus. The vampire sent a note with his donation. A portion of the note reads: “Dear Caroline, I have often imagined the paths your life might take, but your chosen future is nobler than I ever fathomed. Please accept this contribution to your virtuous cause. I do look forward to thanking you in person, someday. However long it takes. Yours, Klaus.”

Klaus And Caroline To Have Their Own Spinoff?
The source notes that TVD co-creator Kevin Williamson reconfirms Plec’s statement of having a spinoff series for Klaus and Caroline. Williamson says they just want to “suggest that there’s another whole chapter to the story (Klaus and Caroline).”
Moreover, Williamson said, Klaus and Caroline’s relationship did not receive the attention it deserved. According to the co-creator, the couple’s love story got cut short. Though Plec and Williamson gave their insights about Klaroline, there is no further information whether the spinoff series will happen soon.
