Switched At Birth Season 5: Series’100th Episode Brings Gilles Marini Back

Switched at Birth Season 5 cast members celebrated their 100th episode with a bang. In the show’s upcoming episode, Gilles Marini returns to the series to bring “a fascinating and emotional” episode.

Switched At Birth Season 5 Reached 100th Episode

Before Switched at Birth bids goodbye its viewers, the show reached an important milestone: their 100th episode. Cartermatt.com reports that in Episode 7 titled Memory (The Heart), Gilles Marini reunites with the cast. The outlet notes that according to Switched at Birth’s synopsis, a young woman will make Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) recall their fondest memories of Angelo (Marini), their dad. However, they need to decide whether they want this woman to be part of their lives.

Angelo’s presence in this upcoming episode makes it clear that the Switched at Birth cast and crew are giving their viewers “something special.” In the show’s trailer, it opened with Marini talking to Daphne. The two were discussing the former’s passing.

A scene in the trailer hints that there are some inconsistencies with this mysterious young woman. However, it also showed the sisters and this young woman having a great time together. Though a great relationship is starting to form among them, the last scene hints that the young woman is keeping something from them.
