Sherlock Season 4 Spoilers
Earlier, it was reported that the next season will be “the darkest one yet.” In line with this, a new photo on the show’s Facebook page teased fans. The photo showed Holmes and Watson’s apartment has been flooded and did not drop hints after that.
Similarly, a report from Gamenguide revealed that the new season is set to dig through the past of Watson’s wife Mary (Amanda Abbington) while Moriarty (Andrew Scott) will be coming back to challenge Sherlock.
In talks of having a new villain for the show’s fourth season, Culverton Smith (Toby Jones) has been rumored to take the role of a “much darker” villain than those compared to the previous seasons. Not much detail has been revealed, however, Jones’ character has been described to have “a rotten soul, portrayed through his rotting teeth.”
