Rick and Morty Season 3: Reasons To Be Excited!

For months now, fans have been waiting for news about Rick and Morty Season 3. While some said it would have a Christmas premiere, others believe that it’s impossible for the season to start before 2016 ends.

There are rumors that the script for the third season isn’t done yet. This is probably causing the delay of this highly-anticipated Adult Swim sci-fi sitcom. Fans should certainly stop worrying because the team behind Rick and Morty already confirmed a Season 3.

Rick and Morty Season 3: What to expect

There is a reason why fans believe that Rick and Morty Season 3 will be back just in time for the Christmas season. According to Movie News Guide, as reported by News Everyday, a photo of the hit series leaked and it points to a Christmas premiere. The photo features a Christmas village covered in snow, complete with Santa Claus, a reindeer, and a candy cane.

Rick and Morty’s official Instagram page simply captioned it with: “It’s lit.” This post led to thousands of likes as of this writing while hundreds are asking for a Christmas premiere confirmation. There was no word from Rick and Morty’s crew about it, though.

In fact, there have been no teasers about any season premiere this holiday season. This led many fans to constantly tweet the creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, demanding for the start of the series.

Dan shuts the trolls down

In a series of tweets, Harmon ranted about how some fans, or trolls, criticized the way he and Roiland are working on the series. There have been a couple of hints that fans think they are just pulling their leg when it comes to Rick and Morty.

Harmon posted a list of when ideally people can tell him what to do. First on the list was “never,” followed by when he was just the age of one or few of the show’s trolls. Third, the trolls can allegedly tell him what to do if they are paying him or if they are doing something he respects.

He then asked how these trolls think movies and series are made, hinting that the creative process is never easy.

There is no release date yet for Rick and Morty Season 3, but we are hoping to see it very soon on our screens.
