Netflix Adds One Punch Man Season 1 In Anime Roster; 2017 Release For Season 2

One Punch Man Season 1 is officially part of the US Netflix family. The Japanese superhero webcomic is a welcome addition to the streaming giant’s anime roster. Meanwhile, news reports claim that the creators will release the anime’s sophomore season sometime this year.

One Punch Man Season 1 Available In Netflix

Saitama fans are over the moon with Netflix’s recent announcement. The entertainment company added the hit anime series on their list. Technobuffalo reports that Netflix previously “expressed interest in helping anime reach its Western audience.”

The One Punch Man Season 1 series is another anime series available for streaming on Netflix. The company had Attack on Titan, Naruto, Sword Art Online, and Beserk available for their US Netflix consumers who loves watching anime series. reports that Netflix will have the Japanese webcomic’s Japanese and English subs available. Aside from that, One Punch Man fans also have access to the series’ newly English dubbed version.

The One Punch Man series revolves around a character named Saitama. He is an extremely powerful superhero, who can’t find an opponent strong enough to fight with. The latter report notes that this superhero “took the world by storm with his legendary fists and a multitude of memes.”

One Punch Man Season 2 In 2017

While fans continue to enjoy anime’s freshmen season, they hope that One will release Season 2 soon. The fans may get their wish. The outlet notes that One Punch Man Season 2 is already in the works. According to the source, they expect the release to happen this year. Unfortunately, no confirmed release date was provided as of this time. In the meantime, avid Saitama supporters can watch the Season 1 episodes over and over through Netflix.
