One fan wrote: “Good grief Mark take a vacation get some rest PLEASE DON’T LEAVE THE SHOW!!I” She added that after watching five new episodes of Season 14, she realized that she didn’t miss Michael Weatherly’s (Anthony DiNozzo) character at all. She asked Harmon not to leave the show because she’s “forever a fan.”

There is no clear-cut reason why Harmon looks ill, but he has been active in the fight against cancer for many years now. In 2013, he appeared in a public service announcement for Stand Up To Cancer and the Cancer Research Institute. A CNN report said the actor participated on behalf of his friends who have been battling cancer.

NCIS is suffering from weak ratings?

NCIS has traditionally enjoyed favorable ratings, but the death of two fan favorites—Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo (Ziva David)—might have affected it. Apparently, the show’s Season 14 ratings have been dropping for quite some time now.

So, although Season 15 is already confirmed, there is still that possibility that the management might pull the rug underneath the show. And because desperate times call for desperate measures, there are new reports saying Michael will return in hopes of boosting the ratings again.

Of course, the fact that there seems to be a downhill in terms of Mark Harmon health update, cancellation rumors are on the rise. Hopefully, we’ll get to know soon enough from the management or the actor himself.
