Lucifer Co-Showrunner Shares More Details About Episode 14
After almost three months of waiting, Lucifer returns to your television screens this May. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be a happy episode for Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German). International Business Times reports that the two lead characters “will not be on the best of terms” in Episode 14.
In Lucifer’s co-showrunner Joe Henderson’s interview with TVLine, he shared that Chloe is extremely pissed with Ellis’ character. Moreover, she felt hurt and confused because she has no idea why Lucifer left her. Henderson said that Lucifer learned that God sent Chloe to Earth for them to cross paths when he decides to live in the city.
The outlet noted that in Lucifer Season 2 Episode 13, Lucifer saved Chloe and has charmed his way to her heart by kissing her. However, the publication reported that Lucifer realized Chloe’s feelings may not be true. Because of this, he decided to leave without any explanation, not even to Chloe.

In an Episode 14 trailer, Chloe goes back to Lucifer’s place, unfortunately, he’s gone. She searches for him and she finds out that Lucifer returned to Hell to plot his revenge on his enemies. Spoilers reveal that Chloe is not happy with the way things are going because she believes Lucifer is a good man.
Meanwhile, Cartermatt.com reports that Lucifer viewers will get a first look at God (Timothy Omundson). According to the latter report, viewers have to see whether Omundson is really God or “just a man posing as the character.”
Apart from the addition of a new cast member, the outlet notes that the series revealed that they will be returning to their set in Los Angeles for Season 3. With this, the Fox series have to part with some of their crew who are based in Vancouver. Despite the bittersweet goodbye, Henderson stated that everyone is excited to start Season 3 in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, the initial report noted that Lucifer Season 2 will only have 18 episodes. The source noted that Lucifer’s sophomore season should have 22 episodes in total. This meant the series will only have four episodes left before the season finale airs on May 29, 2017.
Showrunner Ildy Modrovich that Season 2’s shortened because of “scheduling conflicts.” However, the four episodes will become part of the show’s third season, according to Modrovich.
