Lee Min Ho plays the role of the son of a Joseon noble family named Dam-ryeong (Lee Min Ho) and Jun Ji Hyun plays a mermaid named Shim Chung in the show. In an interview recently, the pair spoke about what works for them as an onscreen couple!

Lee Min Ho says the lightheartedness and chemistry with Jun Ji Hyun is the secret of their onscreen magic, reports Soompi. What was impressive is that the lead actress started doing the show just after she delivered a baby. When asked how she managed to look so stunning in the show, she says, “I diet. I think [I was able to maintain my figure] because I am always conscious [of what I eat].”

Rising Popularity of the Show
The TV ratings of the show are inching closer to making new records. The rating is reaching closer to 20%. Statistics reveal the Legend of the Blue Sea brought in a viewership rating of 18.9 percent on Dec. 1 for its sixth episode. As the show progresses, the ratings are also progressing.
SBS’s Legend of the Blue Sea is way ahead in terms of viewership as compared to its competitors like KBS’s “Oh My Geum Bi” and MBC’s “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo”. The show airs on SBS every Wednesday and Thursday at 12:00 pm GMT. It has recently finished airing Episode 8.
Legend of the Blue Sea Episode 9 will air on Dec. 14, 2016 on SBS.
