The midseason finale of How To Get Away With Murder back in December broke our hearts when they killed off a main character, Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch). When it comes back on Jan. 27 to the small screen, we’ll see Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) in jail for Wes’ murder.
Anyone who’s familiar with How To Get Away With Murder knows that the show is not completely devoid of the need to shock its viewers. The question of who killed Wes will surely be answered in the most surprising way. It can be anyone in the Keating five or others in Annalise’s inner circle.
How To Get Away With Murder: Plots and subplots
Wes may be dead, but the rest of How To Get Away With Murder Season 3 will be about his character—through flashbacks, of course. Enoch will be a part of the whole season despite his character being killed off. That much we know about the series.
Aside from seeing Wes in flashbacks and guessing who his killer was, we also have to determine the father of Laurel’s (Karla Souza) baby. It was a foregone conclusion that Wes is the father since they were together before the midseason finale. But when it comes to this show, nothing is for sure and everything you believe in can be gone in seconds.
Then, of course, we have to get used to seeing Annalise in prison clothes. She’ll supposedly be there with two other inmates and a toilet. Imagine the great Annalise Keating seating beside a toilet bowl.
During an earlier interview with Good Morning America, as quoted by Refinery 29, Davis said that Annalise’s situation will “get a whole lot worse before it gets better.” Does that mean the rumored death is on the horizon?
What’s in store for us?
I’m sure we’re all up for more shocking revelations because it was hinted that Wes’ killer may be someone we knew way back in Season 1. Think back hard, fans. Who do we know from Season 1 who has a beef with Wes?
How To Get Away With Murder will premiere on Jan. 27. We can’t wait for what’s going to happen!
