Christmas Movies On Netflix: 5 Must-See Christmas Movies on Netflix

Every time this season arrives, I binge-watch Christmas movies on Netflix. There is something comforting about being bundled up in a fluffy comforter and watching white Christmas-themed movies. For me and the family, there’s no better way to spend Christmas night but with popcorn, leftover cupcakes, beer, and Netflix.

Here, I have listed the top five movies we watch over and over again during Christmas season:

Christmas movies on Netflix: Love Actually

I watch this all-year-long, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that it’s on the list of my favorite Christmas movies on Netflix. Love Actually gathers together an ensemble cast that consist of Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, and Colin Firth. The interconnecting story arcs is always a joy to watch unfold.

Home Alone

Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McAllister in the movie. He is left behind when his family went on a Christmas vacation in Orlando (Home Alone 1) and Paris (Home Alone 2). There is something really comforting about watching Kevin win over the hoodlums. In the first movie, Kevin was even shown eating a whole box of cheese pizza and a large chocolate sundae while watching his favorite movie.

The Ref

This is a favorite among Netflix account holders. It stars Denis Leary, Judy Davis, and Kevin Spacey. It tells the story of a burglar who kidnapped a wealthy but annoying couple. Later on, the thief realized the couple was on the verge of divorcing.

Christmas with the Kranks

Christmas with the Kranks first look like a 90’s comic film. But, as the story progresses, you’ll realize that it teaches a valuable lesson about the importance of family, especially during the holiday season. It stars Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dan Aykroyd, and “Cheech” (from Cheech and Chong).

A Very Murray Christmas

Along with a whole list of A-list Hollywood actors, comedian Bill Murray brings a fake documentary on variety shows to life. If you’re not convinced that you should have a “Murray” Christmas, maybe George Clooney’s cameo here will be enough to convince you.

Now that you have a list of Christmas movies on Netflix, you can start your Christmas movie marathon with your friends and family.
