Bones Season 12: The End Of Booth And Brennan Saga; Team Reminisce The Good Times

All good things must come to an end. After more than a decade, Bones Season 12 is officially signing off this month. Before their last hurrah, the cast and crew share and reminisce their fondest memories of the show.

Bones Season 12 fans are sad that their favorite Booth and Brennan banter, the squint talk and other fascinating skeletal findings will soon be over. Fox’s longest running crime drama series will take its final bow this March.

Fox Gives 20-Minute Retrospective Tribute

However, prior to their series finale, E! News reports that Fox assembled the cast and crew for a 20-minute video titled Back to the Lab: A BONES Retrospective. The video is a look back on how the show started.

In the said video, actress Emily Deschanel, who played the role of Dr. Temperance Brennan, admits that she feels strange that the series is already ending. The actress said, “It’s been weird not to go back to work, in a way, but it hasn’t really hit me yet.” Meanwhile, Boreanaz remarked that he feels good about the show ending.

Avid viewers witnessed the endless bantering between the scientist and the FBI agent. However, over the course of time, the ended up falling for one another and started their own family.

Meanwhile, for series Creator Hart Hanson, he associates the Bones series with a village. I think it’s the end of a village. It feels like you go back to a village and it’s just gone.” On the other hand, actor TJ Thyne recognized the show’s fan base. “They just never gave up on the show, and that is the only reason why we are still on the air,” said Thyne.

Bones Season 12 Team: Reminisce Show’s Good Times

Entertainment Weekly reports that viewers enjoy the scientific jargons the squints at the Jeffersonian spew out in each episode. Thyne revealed that they would sometimes pretend what a scene would be like if they don’t have medical and scientific terms to say.

It’s Tamara [Taylor] and I over a body being like, ‘Oh, he’s got a, uh, twist in his foot there,” said Thyne. Moreover, the video also tackled the presence of the three strong women in the Bones TV series. Tamara Taylor’s Dr. Camille Saroyan, Michaela Conlin’s Angela Montenegro and Deschanel’s Brennan cultivated a solid friendship throughout the 12 seasons.

Bones Season 12 still has two episodes left. Their penultimate episode titled The Final Chapter: The Day in the Life airs on March 21. Meanwhile, their series finale titled The Final Chapter: The End in the End on March 28.
