‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Episode 10 Air Date: Sandstorm Mole, Ashley Johnson’s Patterson And What Happens Next

Blindspot Season 2 Episode 10 will air Jan. 4 on NBC. According to reports, the story will pick up where it left off, when the Sandstorm mole shocked Patterson (Ashley Johnson).

Spoiler alert! This update contains Blindspot Season 2 spoilers. Its last episode, titled Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform, aired on Nov. 16.

Is Patterson Alive In Blindspot Season 2 Episode 10?

Blindspot viewers have long suspected that Dr. Robert Borden (Ukweli Roach) is the Sandstorm mole. But Patterson had no idea about Borden’s real motives until the fall finale episode.

Episode 9 ends with the sound of a fired gun. Patterson or Borden could be fatally hurt. Is Patterson alive when Blindspot returns in January?

“She’s going to be okay,” Blindspot creator Martin Gero told Yahoo. The show boss also said Borden will push Patterson to show some ‘great stuff’ in the series.

What happens next in Blindspot Season 2?

“Jane is Roman’s blindspot and Roman is Jane’s blindspot,” Gero said. Shepherd (Michelle Hurd) is now after the siblings because they care too much for each other. As long as Shepherd is alive,  Jane and Roman will not be safe.

Jane’s decision to ‘zip’ Roman will have repercussions, according to Gero. These consequences will be in the second half of Blindspot Season 2.

Sullivan Stapleton’s Kurt Weller Has More Questions

It seems Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) are becoming a real couple. But even as things are going well for them, Weller still has to deal with some big Sandstorm-related questions. Why did Sandstorm tattoo his name on Jane’s back? For how long exactly has the terror group been following him?

The final moments of the first half of Blindspot Season 2 are centered on Patterson versus Borden. But all the main characters have their pre-hiatus closing moments, too. And they’re all done with partners.

Jane and Roman are going to start a new chapter, perhaps with the FBI. Nas and Kurt have a stronger bond now after the Sandstorm ambush. Meanwhile, Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Edgar Read (Rob Brown) have become more honest with each other.

Blindspot Season 2 will continue to air on Wednesdays on NBC in 2017.
