This Dec. 15, the fall finale episode of The Big Bang Theory Season 10 will treat us to Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik) trying to make a Harry Potter robe sexy. In Episode 11 of the popular series, Amy is seen seducing Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) during the couple’s annual birthday sex.
A promo for the episode, entitled The Birthday Synchronicity, showed Amy in a wizard’s robe and carrying a wand. To recall, Amy and Sheldon promised to have sex at least once a year during the fall finale episode of Season 9. They are being true to their pledge.
The Big Bang Theory Season 10: Amy-Sheldon annual coitus gets interrupted?
But it looks like their birthday sex is not going to happen in The Big Bang Theory Season 10 Episode 11. Because the teaser also showed Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) knocking on Sheldon’s door because Bernadette’s (Melissa Rauch) water just broke.
Yep, Bernadette is giving birth and Howard (Simon Helberg) even have to check her contractions. Amy is heard yelling due to the interruption, “You have got to be kidding me!” As far as Amy and Sheldon are concerned, there is no way their once-a-year event should be interrupted… not even by Bernadette’s current situation.
Steve Molaro said that Amy’s annual birthday bash was in keeping the tradition of the two’s characters. Last year, they had a Star Wars-themed party. Season 10 will be for the second most popular movie franchise, Harry Potter.
The Big Bang Theory Season 11 updates
The Big Bang Theory Season 11 may have just been confirmed, but we still don’t have any word on whether or not Parsons will be back to reprise his role as Sheldon. That being said, will Season 10 be the last time we’ll get to see Sheldon’s and Amy’s annual birthday party?
There have been numerous rumors about why there seems to be a lull in the negotiations with The Big Bang Theory cast. Neither Parsons nor the show’s management has spoken about the possibility of the actor’s exit. One of the main reasons being pointed out is Parsons’ involvement with at least two new shows. His $1-million-per-episode salary might have played a factor, too.
For now, we just have to content ourselves with this new episode from The Big Bang Theory Season 10.
