Virender Sehwag Friendly Banter with New Zealand’s Ross Taylor on Twitter

Former Indian skipper Virender Sehwag has been known for his stylish knocks on field. However, post his retirement his cricketing skills were not the focus anymore. Interestingly his Twitter handle has been doing the talking for him.

Virender Sehwag is known for his wit and his play of words. The Indian skipper created quite a lot of controversies with his tweets. His Twitter handle has given much grief to the famed TV personality with Piers Morgan.

Twitter has been a social media platform where many celebrities enjoy pouring their heart out in 140 characters. Some celebs had to suffer the wrath of the Twitter fury where some have been led to delete their tweets.

Virender Sehwag Latest Twitter Banter

The latest banter by Sehwag originated from the occasion of Suresh Raina’s birthday. As a birthday wish from his side, he wrote a sweet message for Indian cricket player which read, “When people ask, Have you seen Aaina? (mirror) Answer is, I have seen Raina. Happy Birthday Suresh Raina.”

Just after Raina replies, Ross Taylor from New Zealand, tweets by tagging Sehwag and Raina’s Twitter handle (see below).

This tweet intrigued the Indian sports player and he quickly replies by saying “Why tagging without typing. Hope stitching going on fine and you getting many orders.”

Of course, the stitching reference was made because Ross’s surname Taylor matches with tailor. So as a friendly banter, Sehwag asks about how many orders for tailoring he is getting. Well, for the story to come to a finish, one would await Taylor’s reply.

Taylor’s reply turned out to be the cutest. After laughing at Sehwag’s comment. He went on to say that his daughter was operating the phone and hence the goof up in the comments.

Virender Sehwag and Piers Morgan Twitter War

Though this conversation between Virender Sehwag and Taylor can qualify as cute, the one with Piers Morgan was far from it. Owing to India’s dismal performance at the Olympics, Morgan had tweeted “Hi @virendersehwag, I bet you 1 million rupees to charity that England wins a ODI World Cup before India wins another Olympic Gold. Accept?”

Virender Sehwag is not one to take things lying down. His reply, “Sehwag chose to highlight this very fact in his response, “We cherish every small happiness’, But Eng (England) who invented Cricket & yet 2(to) win a WC, still continue to play WC. Embarrassing?”

Trust Virender Sehwag to have a good comeback. His Twitter handle is @virendersehwag
