How will the new deals help Naomi Osaka in her career?

Naomi Osaka made her WTA tour debut in 2014. Her aggressive forehand got her massive attention. She defeated the 2011 US Open champion Samantha Stosur after being a set down. Not averse to attention, Osaka has scalped big names in her initial playing days including former World No. 2 Caroline Garcia.

The two deals make Osaka the top contender to represent Japan in tennis in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The new deals will boost her career prospects for sure.

The deal with Nissin is the biggest Naomi Osaka update since her loss to former No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki. Despite losing the final of the Pan Pacific Open, the 19-year-old Japanese made headlines in the tennis circuit. She unleashed a flurry of big serves and swift ground strokes. All that did not go unnoticed as Osaka managed to grab the sponsorship contract with WOWOW.
