Super Junior fans, brace yourselves. Super Junior comeback is already confirmed and it will happen on the second half of 2017. After 18 months, the veteran boy group is going to release another album, which is going to be a treat for all of the fans who waited patiently for them.

Super Junior, or SUJU, is one of the largest idol boy groups in South Korea. The group debuted in 2005 with the song Twins and with a lineup consisting of 13 members. After lineup changes, Super Junior now has 11 members, with four currently doing their military service. The group currently has five sub-units: Super Junior KRY, Super Junior-T, Super Junior-M, Super Junior-H, and Super Junior D&E. Super Junior is famous for their songs Sorry Sorry, No Other and Sexy, Free & Single.

The Confirmed Facts of Super Junior Comeback

Soompi revealed that Super Junior comeback will happen late 2017. This is because the group is waiting for the three members who will be discharged this year. Eunhyuk and Donghae will be discharged in July while Siwon will be out in August. Main vocalist Ryeowook will not be able to participate in the comeback because he’s going to serve until 2018. On the other hand, youngest member Kyuhyun might enlist just before the release of their new track.

In addition to that, the group’s leader, Leeteuk, posted on his official Instagram account about Super Junior’s new album. Koreaboo provided a translation for his post:

“Tired but I am preparing for a comeback this year. All of the preparations are difficult but I’m doing my best and working hard!” the leader posted.

The Reaction Of Fans

Many fans, or ELFs, are ecstatic over the news. It has been 18 months since Super Junior released Devil back in 2015. And with the return of Eunhyuk, Donghar and Siwon, fans are more than excited with Super Junior comeback.

So far, there is no confirmation whether it is a mini-album or a full-length studio album. There are also no details about the title track from Super Junior members themselves or SM Entertainment. All fans can do is wait and see what Super Junior has in store for them.
