Grammys 2017: Camila Cabello Stuns In First Ever Red Carpet After Leaving Fifth Harmony

Fans of Fifth Harmony should really start moving on and stop themselves from hoping that Camila Cabello will soon be back. Cabello made her biggest solo public appearance at the Grammys 2017. This is one of her very first red carpet debuts since leaving the all-girl group in December last year.

Cabello stuns in a silver bead and sequin-embellished turtleneck gown that she paired with long waves and subtle makeup. Netizens thought she looked like a royal princess on the red carpet. The 19-year-old star will be presenting during the prestigious award show.

Camila Cabello Flying High Amid Departure From Fifth Harmony?

It seems like Camila Cabello is doing good in this solo thing. She appeared radiant on the Grammy’s red carpet, and she will be presenting an award—something her former group members were not invited to do so. In fact, the group was snubbed from any nominations, including their highly successful Work From Home.

The song, which Cabello was a part of, was a major success for the all-female group. It achieved triple platinum status and became the first song to reach Top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song also got recognized at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2016, receiving a total of two nominations.

In January this year, the four other members—Ally, Normani, Dinah, and Lauren—made headlines when they performed without Cabello for the very first time. They did a number at the 43rd People’s Choice Awards. They also won a PCA award for the Favorite Group category.

It is not clear if Fifth Harmony was even invited to tonight’s show. If they are, it’s quite possible that Cabello will cross paths with her former group. As of press time, no one has seen the all-female group on the red carpet, unless they decided to do it stealth style and arrived super early or super late.

Cabello Cut Ties With Group?

When Cabello decided to leave the group back in December, it wasn’t much of a surprise. Months before, speculations have already been rampant about her hinting to take her career and go solo. This was only magnified when her collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly, Bad Things, soared to No. 10 on the Hot 100 chart.

Her leaving, however, left a lot of bitter emotions. The four members of the group learned about her decision from her representatives. They also said Camile Cabello refused to talk and consult with them about it.
