BTS New Album In The Works; Special Features Included For International Listeners

A BTS new album is in the works, according to BigHit Entertainment’s CEO Bang Si Hyuk. Moreover, the CEO noted that they have something specially designed for their international listeners. Meanwhile, BTS member Rap Monster recently collaborated with American rapper Wale and released the track titled Change.

Nothing can stop the Bangtan Boys, more popularly known as BTS, in climbing their way to the top. Billboard reports that though the group has not completed their Wings tour, BigHit Entertainment CEO Bang Si Hyuk has already revealed the group’s future project.

BTS New Album Happening Soon

Bang revealed that BTS fans will be pleased to know that the seven-man group will be releasing a new album soon. Moreover, the South Korean boy group will have “more US dates on the way later this year.” The outlet notes that BigHit Entertainment CEO teased of “special features” designed for BTS’ international listeners in their upcoming album.

However, the outlet notes that though they will introduce something new, the group will continue “playing to its base.” Bang said, “We must focus on what we do best as K-pop artists and producers and maybe add some special features to which international or U.S. music fans can feel attached.”

Bang further stated that the group will continue with what they have been doing for the past three years but they will adjust and improve their shows when on tour to accommodate the “international or global expectations.”

BTS Member Rap Monster Released New Track Change

In other BTS news, Asia Starz reports that BTS member Rap Monster released a new track titled Change. The track is a collaboration with American rapper Wale. The latter report notes that the song is about voting rights and sexual harassment. The publication reports that while some KPop bands move away from controversial topics, BTS’ songs are usually about “socially and politically relevant topics.”

BTS member Rap Monster says tackling these issues are important to the group. “The bigger the voice we get, the more powerful our words become,” says the South Korean artist.

The initial report notes that the Change track was released three days before the kick-off of the group’s stateside run. BTS is comprised of seven members namely, Rap Monster, Jimin, Jin, V, Suga, Jungkook, and J-Hope.
