Star Wars Rogue One is due in theaters in just a week and Director Gareth Edwards dropped a hint that another iconic character will appear in the upcoming film. However, a Reddit user might have just spoiled it.
Star Wars Rogue One: A Reddit spoiler?
Star Wars Rogue One might just have a very big spoiler before it hits the theater. A Reddit user with the code name “tphib” said that he has gotten hold of the end credits of Rogue One. The user said that they were able to get as many names as they can. One of the strongest names that came up was no other than Princess Leia.
According to the Reddit user, Princess Leia will have a cameo appearance and will be played by Ingvild Deila. In her IMDB account, the most prestigious movie Deila was in was Avengers: Age of Ultron. Her role, however, was not something notable – she was a “world bub tech.” Most of her works were in short films.
Deila playing Princess Leia makes much sense since it will just be a cameo. So what will it be? Some fans guess that she might appear at the end part of the movie. That scene might involve her passing the plan to somebody else who will, in turn, pass it on to Luke.

Star Wars Rogue One latest trailer!
Rogue One Director Edwards was mum when asked whether or not the iconic character will be Princess Leia. He demurred saying he doesn’t “want to ruin it for other people.” The new trailer suggests otherwise, however.
In one of the trailers for Rogue One, a scene showed Jyn Erso, played by Felicity Jones, keeping the Rebel Alliance all fired up. Along with her in that scene was Bail Organa, played by Jimmy Smits. Organa is, of course, Leia’s adoptive father who took her when Anakin Skywalker, Leia’s father, became Darth Vader.
As any Star Wars fans know, Organa was seen in Star Wars Episodes II and III. On the other hand, Leia appeared on Star Wars IV: A New Hope playing a crucial part in the Rebellion. She was the one who transmitted Jyn’s plan to steal the Death Star.
Star Wars Rogue One will hit the cinemas on Dec. 16.
