Despicable Me 3 Trailer: Villain Balthazar Bratt To Watch Out For!

Despicable Me 3 is definitely going to be a good watch if one goes by the trailer! It looks and sounds funnier, without the need of minions to make it funny! Do not fret, minions are still there in the upcoming sequel.

Illumination Entertainment has dropped a fresh trailer of Despicable Me 3. The trailer looks like a joy ride! The peculiar villain portrayal of Balthazar Bratt will definitely draw many laughs. It looks like Lucy or ‘Grucy’ and Gru are going to be one fantastic pairing in this movie.

The trailer gives a good premise that Gru and Balthazar Bratt will be battling it out yet again. Bratt carried the hurt of not being given a chance of becoming a rock star. And he now eyes world domination. Gru (Steve Carell) and his wife Lucy (Kristen Wiig) are now on a mission to foil his plans, reports Variety.

Be prepared to watch Bratt (voiced by “South Park” creator Trey Parker) bust some moves in the 80’s style! Along with the script that draws laughs, also put in the mix is a dance-off. Just when one began missing the minions, there they appeared singing Happy Birthday!

Despicable Me began as a series in 2010 with Illumination Entertainment making big money out of its first project. The first film was made on a meager budget of US$ 69 million but went on to make US$ 543 million. Other than the story, a lot of other characters along with the main leads became famous- Gru’s three little girls and his little accomplice minions.

The success of the first installment lead to the creation of solo movie for Minions and then another sequel of Despicable Me. In People’s Choice Awards, the Despicable Me won the Favorite Family Movie.

Despicable Me 3 is directed by Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin. It will hit the theaters on June 30, 2017.
