The Holiday Season is here- the month of December is bubbling with excitement. Some make elaborate plans for vacations while some choose to spend time with loved ones indoors. No matter what the occasion, it is always good to have a go-to list for movies in every season. Christmas Movies 2016 could make a good title for the list.
With the snow falling outside and the heat from the firewood comfortably warming the house, one can think of relaxing in pyjamas, sipping on hot chocolate and go binge watching on movies. What could make for a good binge-watching session for Christmas Movies 2016 would be a host of rom-com or romantic comedies.
Christmas Movies 2016: All Time Favorite Rom Com Movies
Doesn’t get as suggestive in this season than this. The Holiday has the perfect feel for the season- mixed with heart-warming characters. The story of two people swapping their homes to try and move away from their relationship issues. They both end finding love in the new city. Highlight Scene- Jude Law crying and watching Cameron Diaz come back to the house in the climax scene. (Helpful Tip: You may need tissues here!)
Oh the charm of Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock sharing screen space! A domineering Canadian immigrant boss (Bullock) finds herself at the mercy of employee (Reynolds) to stay back in USA. The highs and lows filled with comic twist will be able to tug at the right chords in your heart. One can’t miss the irresistible chemistry between this pair.
When Harry Met Sally
Does one need to say anything, anything at all! When Harry Met Sally is a 1989 American romantic comedy film with Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan in the lead. The film explores the perennial question of “Can a man and woman ever be just friends?”
The day I become too cynical to enjoy When Harry Met Sally is the day I shall jump off a cliff.

Julia Roberts in all her ethereal best and Hugh Grant with his cute British accent will definitely find a soft corner in ones’ heart. The story of a superstar who struggles to live a normal life and a commoner (Hugh Grant) living a mundane life. Their lives meet and everything is uphill or Notting Hill from there!
Watch Julia Robert say “And don’t forget… I’m also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.”- all the feels here!
This is definitely not the only movies out there! But this could be a list to start off with for best rom-com movies to watch in Christmas Movies 2016.
