Grammys 2017 graced the land of Staples Center in Los Angeles. Some stellar performances have already been aired. Beyoncé twins made their debut with adorable Blue Ivy Carter and Jay Z watching from the audience.
James Corden seems to have done a decent job in hosting the Recording Academy night. His carpool karaoke with Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, and others was an endearing moment. The host hit a somber note when he spoke about the passing away of George Michael. He invited none other than Adele to grace the stage to pay a tribute to the iconic singer.
Adele Stops Performance Half Way
Adele takes the stage to perform “Older” track by George Michael. However, from the first note something felt amiss. It looked like there was some technical issues. The performance kept going until she stopped it and said “I’m sorry for swearing and sorry for starting again, can we please start it again? I’m sorry, I can’t mess this up for him.”

Amid loud cheers from the audience and the music fraternity, Adele picks up the song again and delivers a crackling performance.
According to an eyewitness in the crowd, Adele said, “It’s f—ed up, I can’t do it like that” reports THR. The performance ended with lyrics “I miss my baby” with many eyes moist in the audience including that of Adele. One really felt bad that this had to happen with a singer like Adele. She looked devastated for having messed up the performance.
Massive Love for Adele Post Performance
Jennifer Lopez was sending love to her from the audience after a distraught Adele signed off. Rihanna was also mighty impressed with Adele’s tribute to Michael at Grammys 2017. Her fans are only loving her more after having the courage to stop her performance and do it right for her idol.

While accepting her award for Best Pop Vocal Album, she apologized again for swearing in the middle of the performance. The Hello singer had a similar moment in Grammys 2016. This year again she said, “I know it’s live TV, I’m sorry. I can’t do it again like last year.”

Last year, the singer was plagued with technical issues as well. Adele’s mic briefly got cut out and viewers noticed how the audio appeared to falter throughout her performance. Hope the fans send the singer enough love so she doesn’t beat herself about the interruption in the tribute song at Grammys 2017.
