Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has been one of the most controversial in recent times. A new development involving former Apprentice contestant Summer Zervos has come up. This revelation comes three days before Trump officially becomes the president of USA.
Summer Zervos has accused the president-elect Donald Trump of sexual assault. She has filed a defamation lawsuit against him as well for denying the assault. Zervos says that she was assaulted back in 2007 at a Beverly Hills hotel.
Summer Zervos: Will the Accusations Hold Ground?
With just three days left for Donald Trump to take the president’s office, one would wonder how these accusations by Summer Zervos will affect the proceedings. Zervos calls Trump a “liar and misogynist” who “debased and denigrated” her. In October, the former contestant of the reality show revealed the incident of how she avoided Trump at the hotel to avoid his advances.

Zervos was led to talk in a news conference with her attorney, Gloria Allred. She felt that it was high time that she brought out the ‘truth’ after seeing recordings on the set of “Access Hollywood”. The controversial recordings reveal Trump making degrading comments about women.
What’s In It For Zervos’s Future?
The lawsuit talks about how Zervos felt that Trump’s alleged behavior needs to be talked about after the recordings came out. The suit says, “For the first time, Summer Zervos saw Mr. Trump’s behavior towards her for what it was: a sexual predator who had preyed on her and other women.”

When the allegations first came up in October 2016, Trump denied them saying, “To be clear, I never met her at a hotel or greeted her inappropriately a decade ago. That is not who I am as a person, and it is not how I’ve conducted my life” reports LA Times.
Donald Trump even said that he would sue women like Summer Zervos who accused him of sexual assault. He said, “Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign. Total fabrication. The events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over.”
Things will only get murkier as these accusations take shape. Here is hoping that truth will prevail.
