Think of Christmas and the gifts! It is so special to give and receive gifts this season. Now imagine being stunned by a gift right from the Royal Family. Prince Harry pulled a sweet surprise for a US veteran this Christmas.
Prince Harry decided to make Christmas special for Invictus Games competitor Anthony Radetic. The US veteran was elated to see a picture of his kids with the prince on a Christmas Card. The post delivered to the US citizens house would have surely made their Christmas more merrier.
Christmas Surprise From Royal Prince Harry
Prince Harry had met Anthony Radetic’s children during the Orlando Invictus Games held in May 2016. The card read, “Thank you for making my Christmas card.” The photo in the card was that of the prince along with Anthony’s children Ana-Maria, 10, and son Vinko.
What made the card more personal was that it was not released officially from Kensington Palace. The prince personally addressed the letter to the US veteran, reports Mirror. It is no surprise that the veteran was touched by the gesture. Anthony says, “I’m truly honored and am so grateful to Prince Harry for doing this. He is definitely my top pick as the best celebrity out there, spokesperson and just kind person.”
The Prince- A People’s Man!
The young prince is known to be a people’s man. He has no airs about belonging to the Royal Family. He is seen mixing around with commoners and also initiating a lot of welfare and social service projects. The ones closest to his heart is that of raising awareness about emotional well-being.
The Invictus Games is a sporting tournament for injured servicemen and women from around the world. Prince Harry brought it to the UK for events in London’s Olympic venues in September 2014. The prince is serenaded with a lot of love and appreciation by the citizens of England who are often found posting lovely messages for him on social media.
