Ben Affleck Completed Alcohol Addiction Rehab For Children

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner divorce saga is all over the internet. The most recent development being that the couple has decided to give their relationship another chance. Their divorce proceedings are on hold and as of now, the couple is deciding to co-parent their children.

Ben Affleck took to Facebook to share his heart out during this challenging time. He announced on the platform that he has completed his treatment for alcohol addiction. The actor states that he wishes to be a good father to his children and hopes to see his kids grow up with no stigma attached.

Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Divorce Proceedings

The talk of divorce between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner began just a day after their 10th wedding anniversary. The couple had separated long before the announcement of their divorce came into the media. According to reports, they have been staying separately for about 18 months.

The 44-year-old actor was plagued with issues of gambling and alcoholism. Jennifer has been trying to keep the marriage afloat for a long time. But sadly for her, it didn’t work out. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the actress said that for her marriage is a huge priority. Garner says, “It was a real marriage. It wasn’t for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work.”

The Nanny Gate Scandal

One of the shocking revelations that came out of the divorce proceedings was the involvement of the nanny, Christine Ouzounian, of the couple’s kids. However, Garner clears the air saying that the nanny does not have any role to play in this separation. “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives,” said the actress.

Both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are serious about their commitment to their kids namely Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Sam, 4. The Goodwill Hunting star says, “I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are definitely setting a good example for their kids in dealing with marital stress in a mature way.
