Bandai Namco recently dropped hints about the elements they are considering for the upcoming three-chapter Shrine Maiden of the Abyss. The expansion for Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization allegedly features infinite dungeons, field content, new graphics, and more EX sword skills.
A report from Gematsu emphasized that these changes are still at the “consideration” stage. There is no definite promise that all the aspects will be included when the new content is released. However, Bandai Namco is “trying its best” to be able to implement it all.
While there has been no release date set, many speculate that the update could roll out after the Third Sacrament is released, which is around February this year.
