You have a total of 10 votes you can spend on one candidate. Search for the beauty queen by country and give her the number of votes you want. After that, click Cast Your Vote and check the box confirming you are 13 years old or older.

You can also vote through Twitter by using the hashtag #MissUniverse together with the hashtag of the beauty queen’s country. For example, to vote for Maxine Medina, you have to type “#MissUniverse #Philippines.” You can find the hashtag for the country beside the candidate’s name on the official site.

You can also vote by the official MISS U app that you can download from the App Store or the Play Store. The new mobile messaging app called Vodi will also allow you to cast your votes. Make sure to make your voice heard and vote for your candidate/s!

How the next Miss Universe is going to be selected

The Top 12 will be chosen based on their performance during the preliminary events: interviews, swimsuit presentation, evening gown competition, and global online fan voting. During the pageant night, this will be trimmed down to the Top 9 based on the judges votes and the global fan votes.

After that, the Top 9 will sashay in their evening gowns. They will be trimmed down to the Top 6. These six candidates will then enter the most nerve-wracking part of the competition—the question round.

The Top 3 with the highest score will be presented for their final look. From these three, the Miss Universe 2016 will emerge based on the judges and home viewers.
